Your Gut Microbiome

While bad bacteria are responsible for various diseases, good bacteria operate as a protector of your immune system, responsible for producing various vitamins and other metabolites to support your health. All these microorganisms are called microbes in short.

Types of Microbes

Microbes are found mainly in the large intestine. There are more microbes present in other organs of the body, like: lung microbiome, breast microbiome, vaginal microbiome etc.
